I recently stayed at The Granary At Tinto Retreats in Biggar and I was blown away by the beauty of this stone cottage. The spacious and tastefully decorated house provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The serene surroundings and stunning views made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. I particularly enjoyed witnessing the breathtaking sunset against the backdrop of nature. The neighbors were friendly and the house had all the amenities I needed, including WiFi, towels, bedding, and even entertainment options like books. The location was also ideal for me as I wanted to visit the area where my father grew up and scatter his ashes, and being near Tinto Hill, a place he loved to climb, made it extra special. I highly recommend The Granary At Tinto Retreats for a memorable and rejuvenating getaway.
Drawbacks: The only minor issues I encountered were the slow WiFi connection and the lack of clear temperature guides on the oven knobs, which made reheating food a bit tricky. However, these small inconveniences did not detract from the overall wonderful experience.

The house was spacious and beautifully decorated, making it a cozy and comfortable place to stay. the location was perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. - One of the best aspects was the warm hospitality of the host, Elaine, who made us feel welcome and ensured that everything was perfect for our stay.
Although not a major issue for us, it would be helpful to have a washing machine for longer stays, especially for families with kids. The WiFi was a little slow, but who needs a fast internet connection when surrounded by such natural beauty?
